IBM Career Education Program

The IBM career education program consists of two phases; namely Faculty Enablement Program and Student Development Program. Faculty enablement program was conducted from 17th June 2019 to 21st June 2019. Student enablement program phase is implemented during technical hours of 3rd year and 4th year students. Training is facilitated by the faculty members who have successfully completed IBM training program. Subject Matter experts from IBM provided trainings on Artificial Intelligence analyst course and Business Intelligence Analyst course.

IBM Artificial Intelligence Analyst Course

The Artificial Intelligence career path prepares students to apply AI in real-life. This will require skills in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), chatbots, and computer vision. Training topics will include AI, IBM Watson, hands-on and case studies on machine learning, NLP, chatbots, and computer vision.

IBM Business Intelligence Analyst Course

The Business Intelligence Analyst career path prepares students to understand report building techniques using relational data models. They will also learn how to enhance, customize, and manage professional reports and will then further be explained about Active reports content and functionality.

Objective of the Facility

Courses Offered

1. Introduction to RF & Wireless Communication System Design (20 Hrs.)

This course provides a theoretical and hands on experience on antenna design and mobile communication.

The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to RF & Wireless communication and provide hands-on experience using the MITS – Keysight Centre of Excellence. The various areas covered in the course are antenna design, fabrication & testing and basic simulation of 5G candidate waveforms.

1. Design, Manufacturing and Testing of RF Communication Devices (40 Hrs.)

This course provides a theoretical and hands on experience on antenna design and mobile communication.

The aim of this course is to address in detail the RF Communication System design using facilities in the Keysight RF/ Wireless lab.  The various areas covered in the course are antenna design, fabrication & testing, performance evaluation of 5G candidate waveforms and development of a smart antenna system.
