WOMEN’S FORUM

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of this committee is to safeguard the self-esteem and rights of the women students. It also aims to empower them to take part in all the activities of the college and thereby to make them feel that they are no longer inferior to men.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Women Empowerment through Education
2. Organize health awareness programs
3. Solve women related issues and complaints
4. Create awareness about women’s welfare
5. Handle casework and counseling
6. Organize Self-defense Course for women/girls of the college community
7. Improve inter-personal skills
8. Create awareness against harassment
9. Conduct Women’s Day Programs

In order to receive valuable suggestions and grievances, the committee has introduced a grievance box named MITS SOLACE near women’s refreshing area on the first floor.
