NSS Day is observed on Sep 24th each year to celebrate the contributions and achievements of the National Service Scheme.NSS was launched on Sep 24, 1969, by Dr. V.K. R.V. Rao, the father of NSS* and then Education Minister of India, in 37 universities.

With the motto “Not Me, But You”, NSS has been instrumental in fostering leadership, empathy, and community engagement.With 3.8 million volunteers strong, we are an unstoppable force for good.

NSS Day was celebrated at MITS on 25th September 2023.Our Respected Principal ,Dr.Neelakantan P C hosted the flag.
