India has been making rapid progress in the areas of Innovation and
Entrepreneurship. Indian Engineering graduates have always been recognized
the world over for their scientific temper and technical capabilities. It is the
joint responsibility of the Industry and Academia to come together and
motivate the students to venture into the new and emerging areas of
Industrial expansion, like the area of Electric Vehicles. Electric Vehicles hold
more promise for India with its large population and ever-increasing demand
for non-polluting energy resources.
We are happy to announce an Annual Competition for the final year
Engineering students of all Indian technical universities, on the theme of EV
related areas. We invite Innovative projects in EV technology that find
applications in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) or Plug-in Hybrid Electric
Vehicles (PHEV)s or the latest Battery Electric Vehicles in the following
categories.
( but not limited to).
 2/3/4 Wheelers EV Power Train
 Power Distribution Unit
 Power Regeneration System
 Charging System
 Battery Management System
 Energy-efficient methods in Motor Driving System
 Safety Systems
 Battery Monitoring System to prevent Fire
The competition carries cash prizes amounting to Rs 200K. Please refer to
