Mr P. GEORGE VARGHESE (Late)

Mr P. George Varghese served as the Executive Director of Muthoot Institute of Technology & Science from its inception in 2013 until his passing in 14th April 2025. He was formerly the Managing Director at FCI OEN Connectors Ltd and held the position of Vice President of the Kerala Management Association from 2006 to 2007. He also served as Vice Chairman and Executive Director at FCI OEN Connectors Ltd and held directorships in various firms including Geomaths Stocks & Shares Trading Private Limited, Yoj-Ujar Stocks & Shares Trading Private Limited, Prima Components Limited, and Prime Business Private Limited.
A dedicated philanthropist and leader, he was a Trustee of the IMA Blood Bank, Kochi, and a member of the Governing Council of DC School of Management and Technology. Mr. Varghese also served as an Independent Director at Muthoot Finance Limited from January 1, 2008, to September 27, 2013. His involvement in the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (1992–1999) and the CII Kerala chapter reflected his commitment to business and community development.
An accomplished professional, Mr. George Varghese held a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kerala University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Cochin University of Science and Technology. His legacy of visionary leadership, humility, and service will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
