Substance Use Disorders are clearly a significant public health concern for the humanity. Adolescent addiction to different drugs and psychotropic substances has surfaced as a big problem in our nation. For making our students more responsive on the harmful effects of drugs, more and more knowledge on this area is mandatory.As usual, LAHARIVIMUKTHA CLUB, MITS on 26th June-the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is reaching to you with couple of programmes. This time we are associating with an NGO namely PROJECT  VENDA  who  focuses on age appropriative preventive education and awareness generation of substance abuse among teens and young adults. During the occasion, we are also awarding and telecasting  the selected videos prepared by our students on the theme “Jeevithamanu Lahari,Say no to Drugs”. Laharivimuktha Club,MITS cordially invites   all the students and staff of MITS for attending the session on live Zoom platform at 2.00pm on 26th June.
