MITS SCIVERSE, the official Science Club of Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science, was inagurated on 15th October 2025. The event marked the beginning of a new chapter dedicated to nurturing curiosity, discovery, and innovation among
students.
In his Presidential Address, Principal Dr. Neelakantan P.C. emphasized the importance of scientific thinking and innovation in engineering education. Dr.Sreekanth G, Faculty Coordinator, introduced the Chief Guest, highlighting his expertise and contributions to Physics.
The highlight of the event was the Keynote Address by Prof. C. Vijayan on “Scientific Thinking for Engineers.” His insightful talk inspired students to approach science with creativity and curiosity. Overall, it was an inspiring and interactive session, especially for the first-year students, whose enthusiasm made the inauguration a memorable success.
