The Finance Committee serves as an advisory body to the Governing Body, providing guidance on the financial management and planning of the college. It plays a key role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective utilization of institutional funds. The Committee reviews and advises on financial policies, budget allocations, and expenditure priorities in line with the goals and objectives of the institution. The term of the Finance Committee is three years, and meetings are held at least once every six months to review the financial position and performance of the college.
The Finance Committee examines the budget estimates related to grants received or receivable from various funding agencies, income generated from student fees, and other financial resources. It also reviews the audited accounts of the college and submits its recommendations to the Governing Body for approval. Through prudent financial oversight, the Finance Committee ensures the sustainable growth and fiscal stability of the institution.
