Department of Mechanical Engineering Concludes Two-Week CFD Summer Internship

On June 8th, the Department of Mechanical Engineering kicked off an intensive, two-week summer internship program dedicated to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The initiative welcomed a diverse group of students from various colleges to explore the dynamic field of fluid simulation.
The program was carefully structured to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical application. Participants began with foundational CFD theory and progressed through rigorous hands-on sessions, eventually learning to simulate highly complex engineering problems.
To conclude the internship, students put their newly acquired technical skills to the test in an Aerodynamic Car Design Competition. We are proud to congratulate Alan Mathew from MITS, who took home the prize for the Best Design.
Congratulations to Alan and all the participating students for their hard work and dedication throughout the program!
