SUMMER WORKSHOP ON MATHEMATICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR AI & DATA SCIENCE

The Department of Basic Science & Humanities and the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), successfully organized a five-day Summer Workshop on "Mathematical Foundations for AI & Data Science" from 22 to 26 June 2026.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP IN MATHEMATICS 2026

The Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Kochi, successfully conducted a Summer Internship Programme in Mathematics during April–May 2026 in two slots.

SCIENTIA '26

SCIENTIA ’26, organized by the SCIVERSE Club of the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities at MITS, was held on 10th–11th March. The programme began with an insightful talk by Dr. Poornima N on “Game Changers of History,” highlighting key scientific contributions and their relevance today. Building on this momentum, the second day featured an engaging treasure hunt with 12 teams, testing participants’ knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
