MITS SCIVERSE, the official Science Club of Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science was inagurated on 15th October 2025 by Dr. C Vijayan, Retd. Professor, IIT Madras. The club aims to encourage the curiosity of students in scientific concepts through experiments, discussions, and projects that explore the wonders of science.
The club comprises of two faculty coordinators, two student coordinators,faculty members and student members from various discplines. The club members aim to organize science-based events such as invited talks, exhibitions, National science Day celebrations etc. to promote awareness of scientific contributions.
To promote scientific curiosity and analytical thinking among students through interactive and innovative activities.
To bridge the gap between science and engineering by exploring scientific principles behind technological advancements.
To encourage student research and innovation through projects, seminars, and technical presentations.
To organize science-based events and outreach programs such as fairs, exhibitions, and guest lectures and to celebrate important scientific occasions like National Science Day and promote awareness of scientific contributions.
To foster teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills by engaging students in collaborative scientific endeavors.
