M.Tech in Cyber Security

For every lock there is someone out there trying to pick it or break in”-David Bernstein.

Rapidly evolving technologies poses risks to resource safety and thus it demands for skilled cyber security professionals to safeguard the organizational assets and defend against unexpected intrusions. Cyber security is the collection of practices, technologies and processes followed to protect computers, electronic systems, networks and data from unauthorized access. The MTech in Cyber Security at MITS is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course that covers best practices across all sub-domains like Application Security, Network Security and Data Security that help you to integrate defense against all security vulnerabilities. The course aligns with software security programs that are being implemented in various organizations. The curriculum targets in developing skills for cyber professional with core foundation courses and practical sessions including Cryptography, Information Security, Cyber Forensics. We also facilitate internship opportunities with the global industry leaders. Professionals who are specialized in Cyber Security is awaited with extremely rewarding job titles including Crypt analyst, Information Security Officer, Security Architect.
