The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), successfully organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Medical Imaging to Biomaterial Design: Modelling and Simulation for Personalized Healthcare” from 17–21 June 2026.

On June 8th, the Department of Mechanical Engineering kicked off an intensive, two-week summer internship program dedicated to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The initiative welcomed a diverse group of students from various colleges to explore the dynamic field of fluid simulation.

Talk on The Art of Defensive Driving

The SAEIndia Southern Section Tier 2 Student Convention 2024 of Cochin Division hosted by MITS on 26th November 2023 witnessed over 250 students from 18 engineering colleges across the state, showcasing innovation and collaboration.
