A total of six students and a faculty from the Civil Engineering Department attended an All India Workshop titled “ Building a Greener Tomorrow: Advances in Sustainable Construction ”, organized by the Institution of Engineers (India) on 22nd and 23rd August 2025.
The participants included three students from Semester 3 (S3) and three students from Semester 5 (S5). The workshop provided a platform for these students to engage with ongoing developments in sustainable construction practices and technologies.
The sessions focused on the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sustainable construction. The event brought together experts and practitioners from various sectors to promote innovation and knowledge-sharing in the green building movement.
The workshop was conducted by eminent professionals representing industry, government organizations, regulatory agencies, and R&D institutions, ensuring a comprehensive overview of the current landscape and future directions in sustainable infrastructure development.
