An expert talk on Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Chips will be held on January 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Visvesvaraya Hall, MITS Varikoli, exploring the future of advanced AI hardware and its applications.

Held on September 10, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at MITS Varikoli, the Automaze Showdown was a hands-on robotics workshop designed to enhance students’ skills in building and testing Line Following Robots and Bluetooth Robots. Working in teams with full access to components, participants gained practical experience, collaboration opportunities, and preparation for future robotics competitions representing MITS.

As part of the CHIPATHON competition, a talk session titled "Silicon Synergy: VLSI Industry Connect" was delivered by Praveen C S, Senior Physical Design Engineer at Microchip Technologies, on August 31, 2024, at 9:00 AM in Steve Jobs Hall, MITS Varikoli. The session explored the latest trends in the VLSI industry, bridging academic knowledge with industry practices, and guiding participants toward real-world applications and career opportunities in the VLSI sector.

A two-day tech extravaganza held on August 9, 2024, at MITS Varikoli, Dev Summits brought together enthusiasts for hands-on workshops in Rust, Golang, Web3, Web Development, Generative AI, and Flutter. Alongside, participants competed in thrilling challenges like Blindscript, Capture the Flag (CTF), Debugging Challenge, and Concise Clash, making it a perfect blend of learning, competing, and networking in the world of technology.

Organized by the IEEE CASS SBC MITS, the CHIPATHON was held on August 4, 2024, at MITS Varikoli, providing a dynamic platform for students across undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. levels to demonstrate their expertise in integrated circuit (IC) design. The event encouraged teamwork among undergraduates with mandatory three-member groups, while offering flexibility for postgraduates and research scholars to participate individually or in teams, fostering innovation and creativity in IC design.
