NSS Unit No. 264, MITS, and the MITS Women Cell, in association with Muthoot Finance, successfully organized "CUP OF LIFE"

NSS Unit No. 264, MITS, and the MITS Women Cell, in association with Muthoot Finance, successfully organized "CUP OF LIFE"—a Menstrual Cup Distribution Programme—on Thursday, 20 August 2026, at the Albert Einstein Hall.

The initiative focused on promoting menstrual hygiene, advancing environmental sustainability, and fostering empowered womanhood across campus. The event marked an impactful step toward sustainable healthcare and personal wellness for students.

World Environment Day 2026 – Family Garden Initiative

As part of World Environment Day 2026, the NSS Cell of MITS conducted the Family Garden initiative to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living. Volunteers, along with their family members, actively participated in planting and nurturing saplings at their homes, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and family bonding. The program highlighted the importance of collective efforts in creating a greener and healthier future.

International Day of Yoga Celebration by NSS MITS Unit No. 264

NSS MITS Unit No. 264 organized a Yoga Day Celebration on 22 June 2026 at the Michael Jordan Arena, MITS. The programme was conducted with the aim of promoting wellness, mindfulness, and the timeless practice of yoga among students.

The event witnessed active participation from students and NSS volunteers who came together to embrace the values of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Through guided yoga sessions, participants experienced the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga, reinforcing its importance in daily life.

The celebration served as a reminder of the role yoga plays in fostering overall well-being and encouraged the MITS community to adopt healthier habits for a better tomorrow.

Blood Donation Camp – NSS Unit No. 264, MITS | July 8, 2026

The NSS Unit No. 264 of Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science, in association with the IMA Voluntary Donor Blood Centre, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 8 July 2026. The initiative witnessed an overwhelming response, with 65 students voluntarily donating blood, reflecting their spirit of social responsibility and humanitarian service. A Proud Achievement for NSS Unit 264

Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science has been honoured with the University Rudhirasena Award for conducting the highest number of blood donation camps. A testament to the collective dedication of our volunteers in serving humanity.
