WOMEN’S FORUM

OBJECTIVE:

The main objective of this committee is to safeguard the self-esteem and rights of the women students; empowering them to take part in all the activities of the college and thereby to feel that they are no longer inferior to men.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Women’s Empowerment through Education.
2.Organizing the health awareness program.
3.Solving women related issues and complains.
4.Creating awareness about women’s welfare
5.Handle case works and counseling.
6.Organizing the Self-defense Course for the women/girls of the college community
7.Improving interpersonal skill.
8.Creating awareness against harassment
9.Conducting Women’s Day Program

In order to receive the valuable suggestions and grievances, the committee has introduced a grievance box named MITS SOLACE which is kept near to the women’s refreshing area in the first floor.
