3 days hands on workshop on “ Embedded Intelligence with Jetson Nano” was organized by the Computational Intelligence Club” in association with the IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation and FOSS club from 26-5-2023 to 28-5-2023. The session was handled by Mr. Lomin Joy, Project Engineer Embedded System (IPTIF) IIT Palakkad .The workshop introduced participants the basics of AI, Computer Vision and Deep learning using the Jetson Nano platform.Participants gained practical experience by completing projects such as image classification and object detection, and learned how to optimize their models for embedded devices.

Laser tag was a fast paced team game conducted as part of the intercollegiate Techfest SHRESHTA 2023 whose objective was to capture the enemy team's flag .The game is of a 3v3 format with 3 rounds with a round consisting of 2 minutes. The team which bags 2 rounds ,wins the game. Players are required to use the extensive terrain to their advantage to outplay their opponents.

The Association of Department of Artificial intelligence and Data science MITS organized a technical talk on “Artificial intelligence in Cyber Security” on 27th March 2023, at 9:30 am at Vishweshwaraya Hall.The session wAS handled by Sri. Bhadran V K, Senior Director (Ret.), C-DAC, currently Director (Technical) Alibi Global Pvt. Ltd, Former Head Technology, Kerala IT Mission, Thiruvananthapuram.

“Industrial AI” is a talk session conducted by the department of Artificial intelligence and data science on 20th April at Visvesvaraya hall from 11 am to 12 pm, meeting chaired by Mr.Robin Tommy,the social innovative head from Tata consultancy services (TCS). The meeting was a visionary talk on the application of AI on underprivileged and specially abled students from insights provided from Adarsha school.

METAVERSE was an event conducted by AI&DS department,MITS in collaboration with IIT Palakkad as part of the intercollegiate Techfest SHRESHTA 2023. The event was a workshop on Virtual Reality. The participants also indulged in an hands on VR experience with a varitey of scenes and games to explore.
