On 7^th November 2019, a hands on workshop on Concrete Mix Design was conducted for final year civil students of MITS by the association of Qcrete India (P) Ltd, one of the largest producers of ready mix concrete in state. The session was handled by Er. Shelly S Fernandez, Managing Director, Qcrete Ready Mix India (P) Ltd. The session was included with both mix design calculation with and without admixtures and trials in the laboratory based on the designed mix by students. From industry point of view, the session was very much benefited for the students to realize the exact practice happening in the field of concrete technology.
