*For continuation of scholarship please refer to the eligibility criteria given below. An academic year is comprised of TWO semesters. Semester fee payments are due before January 15th and July 15th of any year.
**Other fees include University Registration fee/PTA fund/office & stationary charges/student enrichment program offered by MITS like Cambridge BEC training & certification (1stYear), (IDP) Individual development plan (2nd & 3rd Year), paid Dept./Industry certified Add on courses (3rd & 4th year) irrespective of any category admitted.
For govt. quota students Rs.10,000/- for caution deposit will be adjusted with the advance paid to CEE during allotment.
There are four categories of tuition fees (1, 2, 3, 4) under which candidates are admitted under Government Quota mentioned in Table 1.
Candidates belonging to the first three categories (1,2,3) are eligible for scholarships amounting to the difference of actual tuition & special fee for Government quota and category 1,2,3 tuition fee & special fee in Table 1. (Government quota tuition & special fees per year is Rs. 75000/-)
Criteria for Continuation of Scholarship
For the Continuation of the scholarship, in the subsequent semesters the candidate will have to (In the first Chance),
1.Earn the prescribed credits for each semester (S1 to S8) as stipulated by the university and maintain a 7.0 SGPA.
2.For students admitted in Category 1 & 2, continuation of scholarship in the band category will be as per their SGPA as below in Table 2.

3. If a student admitted under Category 1 or 2, fails to earn the required credits stipulated by the University for any semester and/or scores less than 7.0 SGPA, he/she will slide to Category 3 fees (as applicable) in Table 1 and worst case subsequently to category 4. The student has to earn 8.00 SGPA to return to category 3 as the case may be from category 4 in subsequent semesters. However, once a student slides from Category 1 or 2, he/she will lose the privilege of that category fee slab and will not be considered for Category 1 & 2 in future.
4. If a student admitted under Category 3, fails to earn the required credits stipulated by the University for any semester and/or scores less than 7.0 SGPA, he/she will slide to Category 4 fees (as applicable) in Table 1. The student has to earn 8.00 SGPA to return to category 3 as the case may be from category 4 in subsequent semesters. However, once a student is admitted in Category 3, he/she cannot be considered for Category 1 & 2 in future even if the SGPA is 8.00.
5. Those students, not eligible for getting the scholarship at the time of admission (admitted in Category 4), can get scholarship in the following semesters moving to Category 3 as the case may be in the table 1 above but not to category 1 or 2, if they earn the prescribed credits for that semester stipulated by the university and attain 8.00 SGPA.
6. For all students admitted under Category (1 – 4) and moved to a lower category in the subsequent semesters, will move to the next higher category on attaining 8.00 SGPA and to remain in the particular category, the student will have to maintain 7.0 SGPA and earn all the credits stipulated by the university till the semester under consideration. However, he/she will move up to category 3 only as the case may be and will not be considered for Category 1 & 2 in future.
